What’s New in AAO

  • Brian Naviglia recently joined the Affirmative Action Office (AAO) as an Investigator.  He is responsible for responding to reports of sexual and gender-based harassment, allegations of discrimination, and other reports of misconduct.Naviglia earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Geneva College and a master’s degree in Psychology of Leadership from Penn State University.  As part of his master’s program, he partnered with non-profit leaders to help them identify internal organizational leadership challenges and to find solutions.  Sosik and Jung cited Naviglia’s academic work in their book, Full Range Leadership Development: Pathways for People, Profit, and Planet (2019).Naviglia served as Human Resources Director for the Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission, where he specialized in benefits, recruitment, labor and employee relations. He also worked as a Human Resources Consultant for Penn State University, where he provided human resources support to various academic and non-academic areas.
